A user asked: Currently we are using DB2 7.1 and CICS TS 1.3 and there is no immediate plan to upgrade. When are DB2 7.1 and CICS TS 1.3 going out of support? Can we recompile VS-COBOL-II programs on z/OS using existing VS-COBOL-II compiler with our current DB2 and CICS TS for bug fixing purposes? Would we be forced to recompile or develop code only using Enterprise COBOL on z/OS?
