The first step in the recently announced Software Development Platform (SDP) is to bring all the IBM Rational developer's tools -- including the Rational XDE Modeler that supports i5/OS V5R3 -- under the Eclipse umbrella.

I am running z/OS 1.4 on a z900 in 31-bit mode using the bi-modal feature and I'm getting ready to migrate to 64-bit. I read in some document that if the MEMLIMIT parameter is not used, that no attempt to use storage above 2G would be made. Is this true?
