Batch jobs failing to allocate the REXX-LIB
[Mark Zelden]

[Mark Zelden]
A user asked: In my DASD configuration we have 3390 devtype models 2 and 3. I am trying to get a report of where I can read the different models and the only command that gives me this information is "DEVSER p,XXX,y." How can I submit this command from a job and get this report for statistics purposes?

TIPS: IMS meets the Web!
If you said Web-enabling a database, most people probably think you mean connecting DB2 to the Web. But IMS, IBM's older database, is just as Web worthy. IMS is geared for fast and frequent access. You can directly attach IMS to the Web or go via CICS or DB2. In this week's Webcast, Jim Keohane will discuss the ins and outs of bringing IMS databases to the Web.
