It's delightful, it's dezippers
[Search390.com]
A Search390.com user asked: I want to zip up a file on Unix to be retrieved by a batch FTP job on the OS/390. The problem is that the FTP transfer truncates the data when it transfers it. I am aware of the LOCSI command to set the LRECL and BLKSIZE parameters but as it's a zipped file, it is not FB and transferring it as VB makes no difference. Is there an equivalent to the ARCHIVE_RECFM=FB that apparently exists on the mainframe?
