The messages are sent and processed one by one. Keeping in mind that the system receiving the messages capable of opening multiple threads. How can I speed up this application by processing more than one message at a time using multi-threading capability of Enterprise COBOL. Can you help me to accomplish this task? It's usually implemented in the WHOHAS command, which I think uses QNAME and RNAME to work out who is serialized on the resource. Sorry I can't recall the exact details of the system macro used but a Control Block is returned with a list of users/jobs accessing the resource." >> For Gerhard's response, click: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid602329_tax285033,00.html?track=NL-170&ad=489089 ____________________________________________________________________ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= :::::::::: DON'T MISS THESE IMPORTANT MESSAGES AND LINKS ::::::::: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= FORUMS | Converting from OSVS to OS390 COBOL A user from our developer forum asked: "Hello all,we are converting programs from OS VS COBOL to IBM OS 390 COBOL. fields defined as S9 (signed numeric ) are displaying the sign as unprintable character '{' Here is an example below.Does anyone have any explanation, and should this be considered valid/allowed difference? 00 000000000000R20030605 < OS VS 00 00000000000{R20030605 < OS 390" >> Do you have a response? No sweat Alan Keyes doesn't just have political aspiration, he's got political perspiration. You can't really buy the former, but you can buy the latter -- on eBay. An Illinois man evidently got hold of a napkin the sweaty Keyes used to blot his bedraggled brow during a rally for his Senate candidacy. The "sweat nap," lovingly wrapped in a plastic bag and called "a part of American history," has gotten bids of more than $500 so far. The money will go into the Keyes campaign. It's the perfect gift for the Republican who has everything -- except drops from Alan Keyes' forehead. Maybe tomorrow someone will auction a vial of Walter Mondale's elbow grease.
