TIP:  The CICS scripter five

GT Software had implemented LUA as an internal scripting language in their Novation CICS-based FTP server product. He also spoke highly of Java but realize the CICS JVM is either a heavy CPU performance hit or a pricey $125,000 move for IBM's new zAAPs. Since then, he's learned of other potential alternatives to enable process scripting/automation within CICS.
