The platform saw an improvement over its dismal first quarter, IBM said. According to Salomon Smith Barney (SSB) estimates, iSeries second-quater revenue topped $549 million, down only 2% from revenue of $560 million the second quarter of 2000. Nevertheless, iSeries revenue was up significantly in Europe.
