TRANSFERRING SPOOL FILES WITH VARIABLE FONTS | Tip: search400
Often reports/forms need to be produced using variable fonts.
While transferring those spooled files with variable fonts from
one system to another for printing, adequate care must be taken
or some data might be lost. To overcome this problem, use the
following technique in transferring those spooled files.

THE MISSING LINK | Shopping center silences abusive scales
Talk about a lean, mean, weighin' machine! A smart scale in
Australia gave people a real pounding, at least emotionally. The
scale not only measured height and weight, it also "weighed in"
with some heavily harsh words. One woman got on the scale and
came off with a computerized printout that said, "Get off fat
pig!" Another man, who weighs only 176 pounds, was told, "You
are a little overweight. Fat %#$@." That's not the kind of warm
and fuzzy Richard Simmonsesque motivation these people expected.
So the scale has been removed. Company officials think someone
"made the scale do it" because it normally says stuff like
"Happy New Year."
