FORMAT OF A STORED PROCEDURE | Expert Advice: Search400.com

Dear Ask the Expert,
I need to call an SQL Stored Procedure written for a MS NT
server to update a server table. My Java program will be running
from an iSeries, connecting to the NT server and calling the SQL
Stored Procedure stored in the server to update the table. I
have no idea what the syntax is or how to do it. Do you know of
any articles on this subject? Web development expert Jim Mason
offers some assistance.

THE MISSING LINK | Leaky connection nets school monster bill

You know how it is when you get a big water bill, wonder why you
owe oh-so-much for H2O, then find out that the downstairs toilet
(that no one uses) has been hemorrhaging for a month? That's
kind of what happened to a primary school in the U.K. A leaky
Net connection earned the school a quarterly bill of more than
$89,000 -- pretty hefty considering that the school never had
Internet access during that time. British Telecom blames a
faulty router for continually dialing for a connection, thus
causing the bill to bulge. And no, BT doesn't plan to budge on
the bill. The school, which gets about $14,000 annually for IT
expenses, is trying to get BT and the ISP to pony up some pounds
to help with the petrifyingly prodigious payment.
