The cuts are centered in IBM's global services business and may come as a result of the PricewaterhouseCoopers acquisition. But his riches have been filthier. Forbes has released its annual list of the planet's wealthiest people, and Mister Microsoft is still at the top of the well-heeled heap with $41 billion and change. But last year he was worth some $10 billion more than that -- proof that the only thing that stinks more than Gates' wealth is the economy. Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen also made the top 10, as did (Captain) Larry Ellison of Oracle. You can call Oprah Winfrey "Ms. Fortune" -- she's the first African-American woman to join the club.
