DEFACEMENT CHALLENGE PUTS WEB SITES ON ALERT | SearchSecurity.com

Hackers reportedly have organized a game this weekend that awards
points for the number of Web sites defaced by Sunday. Enterprises
should take note of the alert and lock down systems, scan for
vulnerabilities and install patches. Experts warn, however, that

defacements on Sunday.

Due to the facility of folder mapping on the iSeries, users merrily
dump their PC files on the iSeries folders -- in QDLS. It is an
administrator's nightmare tracing such files. Search400.com member
Sanjay Lavakare shares a command that he uses on a daily basis to
make life a lot easier.

Dear John,
I've installed a program in Macedonia where they use both Cyrillic

MISSING LINK | Pirates pilfer Potter prose

The rumors were flying last month that miscreant muggles had ripped
off the wizard. Internet pirates reportedly were distributing copies
of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" days
before the book's June 21 release. Those rumors proved false -- the
pirates were kind enough to wait a few hours. But they are now at
work ripping off Rowling. They started their counterfeiting binge not
long after the first book was sold. These wired pilferers of Potter
prose scanned the pages of the book manually, and then cobbled their
files using Microsoft's eBook Reader technology. Now Harry Potter
knows how the guys in Metallica feel.
