MISSING LINK | Phillies fan pitches fit, hurls spam

Fans of Philadelphia sports teams show anything but brotherly love
to those who mess with their Eagles or Phillies. Spectators
sometimes pelt rival teams with batteries and beer, but one
Phillies fanatic went too far. His projectile of choice? Spam. The
guy allegedly hacked into computers and sent a spam tsunami to
sportswriters at two Philadelphia newspapers. He felt that the
media bore some blame for the Phillies' missing the playoffs, and
he made them pay with inundated inboxes and sapped servers. Alex
Rodriguez would have trouble paying the fine this guy faces -- $117
million and change -- plus the equivalent of 471 baseball seasons
in prison.
