Drawl slows tech to a crawl

There's one thing even the latest technology can't deal with -- a Louisiana drawl. Some of the accents are so thick, the voice recognition system for the Shreveport Police Department can't understand them. It ends up routing a lot of these non-emergency calls to the wrong extensions. Obviously, the system isn't from around those parts.
