WEBSPHERE STRATEGIES TIP
iSeries commands from WebFaced applications
If you've WebFaced an application, you might be confused to see in your menus calls to iSeries commands such as WRKSPLF and yet you aren't able to use them. FORUM ADVICE
Sending e-mail attachments from the iSeries
Search400.com member Johnny Aitch writes, "We currently send e-mails out from the iSeries to customers with attached files. This process is completely automated. We also want to receive e-mails with attachments from our customers, detach the file, move it to a library, and then process the file. How would we go about this?" Can you offer Johnny some advice?

THE MISSING LINK
Geek freaks, rages against the spam machine

From the state that gave us road rage comes "spam rage." It was bound to happen sometime. A computer programmer in California got so tired of being slammed by spam and pop-ups promising to enhance his physical, um, shortcomings that he actually did something about it. He responded in unkind -- threatening to torture, maim and kill the spammers. That didn't go over too well with police; the inbox vigilante's rage could cost him five years in prison and $250,000.
