What could make a pink slip seem more like a romantic love note spritzed with perfume? How about a text message along the lines of "U R fired"? A credit card company in South Korea canned 161 striking employees via SMS after negotiations broke down. The company said it had no other way to contact the doomed members of the work force. Firing people never has been so convenient.
