Shahar Mor, connectivity advice

Dear Shahar,
I am trying to access data on an MS SQL Server 2000 from my iSeries. Is there a way to create an ODBC connection from the iSeries to the MS SQL Server machine for my application to access the SQL server data?

FORUM ADVICE
Getting an Excel spreadsheet into a flat file
"GZAMSA" writes, "I need to import/upload a CSV file into a file on the iSeries. I found commands like CYPFRMIPMF, CPYTOIMPF, CPYFRMPCD, CPYTOPCD, but I'm not sure how to use them. Is FTP needed as well? The file on the iSeries would have DDS defining each field." Three Search400.com members responded. Read what they had to say.

THE MISSING LINK
Personal computers just aren't PC

Before you pitch your PC, keep this in mind: The old saying about "returning to dust" does not apply. After you ditch the Dell, toss the Toshiba or 86 the IBM, your machine will probably end up in a landfill -- where its toxic innards may pollute the earth.
