Big Blue set to sell supercomputers

IBM hopes to fit the masses into its Blue Genes. Sometime this week, the company will talk about its plans to make its Blue Gene/L supercomputer commercially available. Choosy supercomputers choose IBM

If IBM were a superhero, it would be Flash Gordon. Of the 500 fastest supercomputers in the world, the majority of them use IBM systems, according to a new survey. Big Blue bested HP for the top spot.

IBM to send 60 jobs to India
[Sify.com]
IBM plans to eliminate 60 jobs in Indiana in an outsourcing deal with Lincoln National Corp. (the jobs will be sent to India). The company claims it will try to find other positions within the company for the affected employees.
