The Missing Link: Yes, Virginia, they can steal your dreams

This little gadget could be a real dream. Or a real nightmare -- it depends on what you're up for. Japan's Takara Co. is literally selling dreams. You load a picture of the person or place you want to dream about into a device, record the name of the person or place and pick some mood music. The dream machine plays it all back several hours later when you're in downtown La-La Land. It's certainly not something you want pranksters to get hold of -- imagine someone stealing it off your nightstand and recording Carrot Top's name. Talk about shattered dreams! So far, the Dream Workshop has a 22% success rate, but Takara dreams of better numbers.
