IBM will try to reduce the damage of its offshore outsourcing practices by finding jobs for many of the 5,000 jobs sent overseas.
PeopleSoft's 'better plan' leaves customers cold

Some former J.D. Edwards customers say since PeopleSoft acquired the company they're paying higher maintenance fees and receiving worse customer service. PeopleSoft's CEO says the customers he meets with are "extremely gratified" with the takeover.

GPS phone for kids a good call for parents

If cell phones were cereal, a new one from South Korea's SK Telecom Co. would be Lucky Charms. The company has cranked out a sweet mobile that's tailor-made for kids -- it comes in cool colors and has an antenna shaped like an ear. What the kids may not know is that the phone also packs a GPS device so Mom and Dad always know where their little wireless wonder has wandered. So it's the cell phone that's really good for kids --
maybe it's more like Life cereal.
