Like a software giant in a china shop of cultural sensitivity, Microsoft has managed to offend the Indian government for creating a map that didn't show Kashmir as part of India; the Saudi government for using Koran chants in a computer game; and pretty much every woman in Latin America for a Spanish version of Windows that asked users to select their gender between "male" or "b****. The latter snafu came courtesy of a lousy translation. Can you say "understatement"?
