The Missing Link

Cell phone cuts off potentially fatal connection
[Ananova]
How many times has your cell phone proven to be a real lifesaver? Maybe it came in handy when your car broke down or when your spouse called during your commute home to remind you to stop and buy toilet paper. For one man in Australia, the cell phone was a lifesaver because it saved his life. A crossbow-wielding attacker with an ax to grind fired an arrow at the man's chest -- right into the shirt pocket where he had stuffed his cell phone. Good call storing the phone in front; it stopped the arrow cold. Not sure if that kind of damage is covered in the warranty, though.
