ABOUT THE WEBCAST:
Join expert software developers from the AdventureTech Group for a one-hour webcast that highlights the advantages of the iSafari[TM] application server such as:
- Process real-time and keep it secure! The package contains a RPG spawning server, which runs on an AS/400 or iSeries and a series of Perl client/CGI modules residing on the HTTP server box.
- User selects security! User can select by page to use HTTPS or HTTP.
- Additional built-in security! The package provides a built-in user ID and password authorization per server. Once in the system, users have different levels of access.
- Tracking and analysis of web usage
- Built-in debugging and multi-level logging
iSafari runs on an AS/400 or iSeries utilizing the internal Apache HTTP server or an external HTTP server residing on either a NT/Linux box or a LPAR running Linux. iSafari is powered by RPG IV sockets, which minimize the workload on your system compared to other solutions and it makes use of staff and equipment currently in place without jeopardizing the security of your systems. This means you do not have to abandon or migrate legacy applications. iSafari provides a simple way of bringing the
web to you along with potential cost savings. In addition, it can also be utilized as a socket-based application interface allowing your RPG programs to communicate to external vendor software/packages.
