Re: [57north-discuss] Half-dead multi-function printer any use?
Coincidentally, I dropped a couple of similar HP devices off in the space last night. They worked last time I used them, though they're a couple of years old and would require new ink, so it may not be worth it. I'm happy to see them re-used or pulled apart for bits - perhaps a good time for a teardown Thursday? The Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire returns on Sunday 19 April 2015 and it's going to be bigger and better than ever. We’re looking for people who love making things to come along to our annual celebration of creativity at Summerhall to show off their work, meet other makers and enjoy the buzz of the biggest show and tell on earth. Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire highlights the diversity of human creativity by bringing makers from all sorts of unexpected areas together under one big roof. There will be gadgets, hardware, software, knitwear and food. We’d like to see puppets, 3D printing, taxidermy, zines, inventions, science experiments and even virtual Minecraft worlds. Whatever you make we’re interested. If you’re a maker yourself this is the perfect opportunity to share your work with a huge variety of people, generate new ideas and make new connections. If you know someone who makes things please suggest that they apply – we are always looking out for those hidden gems.
