Aravind, they accept the certificate for purchasing tickets over the counter and I have used it. they should also accept the same for ID card as the term institution is there in the circular dated 18th march. when I sent my documents, they said nothing about the certificate but refused the application for other reason. Mr. Rajesh, Suppose I am boasting myself of being professor or master. What about you? You do not have the patience to identify the distinction between the concession certificate and the ID card even after there is a significant discussion in the list on the matter. Was there a need to say as if railways has outsourced the task of ID cards to NFB? Did my post imply that? Couldn’t you have the understanding that such a comments may hurt others while my way of addressing hurt you? Does only persons like you get hurt and not others? Even after understanding your misconception you couldn't ask excuse for it. Is politeness needed only for some people? You say railways may one day ask us to present before them naked. Don’t you know some agencies are asking people not to laminate some documents like passes to avoid tampering them? Are not they hasty irresponsible comments? Yes, I have to mind my way of addressing in future. But when will you mind your way of ridiculing others by your hasty sharp comments? You may restrain yourself from getting the card due to facilities you are having. But others may desperately need it. Their behavior was good and I was told that it may take 2 months to complete the procedure. They told me that they will verify the certificate we submit by sending the officials to the hospital. After the due verification only, the card will be issued. They further that nearly 2500 applications have been received and around 20 cards issued so far. Dear Umesha You should carry any of the documentation, anyone which is taken as a valid address proof document which carries the addresses you want to show. The nearest office should be taken as from your present address. If they are refusing, ask them to give it in writing and if possible record the conversation. What then, many big shot NGOs are doing here in Delhi? - Original Message - From: "Aaruni Sharma" To: "AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issues concerningthe disabled." Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2015 6:44 AM Subject: Re: [AI] query regarding indian railways ID card Hello all, actually our NGO pursued this matter vigorously and practically sat on the head of the concerned officials. If the railways people strictly go by procedure, things will take very long. because the verrification process involves too many steps and unless some official takes personal interest, the whole thing is bound to take a lot of time . so the various organisations need to take this matter at the regional lavel and sensitise the concerned officials, and find ways to cut the red tape. Another important thing is that the cards are issued on the basis of the concession form that we submit. so the validity of the crd depends on the dates mentioned on the form. So we should always submit latest concession certificates. Re: [AI] query regarding indian railways ID card
Hello all, actually our NGO pursued this matter vigorously and practically sat on the head of the concerned officials. So we should always submit latest concession certificates. friends, yesterday i submited application for railway i card and they told me to enquire after 3 months. i did not get any acknowledgement. it seems nobody has so far received this magic card. and to make the matters worse, widespread confusion and ignorance prevails amongst railway employees handling the task. now, in my opinion, this matter may be taken up with railway ministry and also with chief commissioner of disabilities. thus, those who have access to these authorities may come forward and initiate the fight. Re: [AI] query regarding indian railways ID card
Good morning friends! I have also submitted the required documents for the railway ID card in 1st week of February. Concern person has told me that after 3 months I’ll get the card. I received a phone call from DRM office for collecting the same. But unfortunately when I have visited the office They said that important changes have to do Therefore we will call you again. I am waiting till date. Re: [AI] query regarding indian railways ID card
Today, we went at CST Mumbai to submit our written application, with our identy proofs, they also asked us to come after 2 months. They will not going to inform us, we have to go at there to ask them, whether our I cards are ready or not. Yes! they didn't gave us any receipt, but, gave acknowledgement on the photo copy of our application. Unfortunetly , the funny thing is, In Maharashtra, city Pune, people doesn't know anything about it, When we spoke with them, (Drm, DCM office) they simply said, It has been implemented in Delhi only, &, not in any other cities. Friends, My question is, how many cities, or states are there, which are not going to implement this, or which don't even know, that they should implement this scheme?
