In my “around here” on Dubois rd, we have breeding Flickers in the yard a
fledglings on the ground daily.

They are common “around here” but I didn’t want it to be common, haha, I wanted 
Horned Lark. Must have been a juvenile as it wasn’t flicker-size by my eye.

I just saw what I think is a northern flicker but a female. Dark bib and red 
spot on back of head, very spotted breast, long bill, no mustache.

This year is the first year I’ve seen them around here.
