Hello,
is it possible to change the axis id of my gamepad? I've got the gravis Xterminator gamepad with a proportional directional pad (joystick-like control) and a 8-way digital directional pad. There are other proportional flippers and throttle buttons so that they are 9 all together. The jscalibrator detects axis 0 and axis 1 for the proportional directional pad, then the others and at last the 8-way directional pad as axis 7 and axis 8. Because of many games use the first two axis for control and I want to use the 8-way directional pad, I want to change the order of the axis id. The 8-way directional pad should be axis 0 and axis 1, the proportional directional pad should be axis 2 and axis 3 and then the other axis should follow.
I've got the same problem with the buttons. Button 0 and button 1 are on the bottom side but these ids should be the first ones of the six main buttons.
So is it possible to change the axis and button ids?
Thanks for advance, Alexander
PS: I'm running kernel 2.6.9 with module grip for this gamepad -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux)
