[Bug 736109] [NEW] gnome-screensaver fails to activate ubuntu 10.04.
The screen saver may not be activating due to some background task or a browser tab playing something. Just food for thought. [Bug 1966418] Re: [jammy regression] Evolution does not display message content anymore

Re: [Bug 1964554] Re: Brasero does not burn ISO IMAGE. Error message; "SCSI error on write(0,16): See MMC specs: Sense Key 5 "Illegal request"
Hi Thomas; Hope you are well and life is being kind. Forgive the late reply but have been busy with work. So at this point I have tried these Burn Programs Brasero Imgburn K3b Brasero All give back a similar message. I am going to on Boot try a earlier version of Ubuntu or maybe Safe mode to see if that would be a solution. It is really difficult to tell wether this is a OS or Hardware issue. Thank you very much for trying to assist me. [Bug 1966552] Re: IBus input method candidate box cannot follow the cursor
Thanks for your report! I tested on some applications shipped with Ubuntu by default (LibreOffice Writer, Firefox, gedit, gnome-terminal) and couldn't reproduce the issue. On Wayland session (not Xorg) I did notice that if I open e.g. gedit or LibreOffice Writer, the candidate window may be shown at the wrong position after my very first key press. But already after the second key press it's shown close to the cursor as expected. Maybe the issue is specific to certain applications, such as those you mentioned. Anyway, I think this is an ibus issue rather than an ibus-libpinyin one. It would be good if you could confirm that by installing e.g. ibus- hangul and see if the issue is present also when inputting Korean. Also, the issue is an upstream one. If you too conclude that it's probably an ibus issue, it would be great if you could submit an upstream issue: https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/ If you do, please post the URL to it in a comment here for tracking purposes. ** Also affects: ibus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to ibus-libpinyin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966552 Title: IBus input method candidate box cannot follow the cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus/+bug/1966552/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1966552] [NEW] IBus input method candidate box cannot follow the cursor
Public bug reported: I have tested it in some software, such as Microsoft Edge, Onlyoffice, and it does not follow the cursor position correctly, but always at the bottom left of the application window.
