[Dx-packages] [Bug 1669655] Re: Adapt to new Nautilus icon name

2017-03-07 Thread Jeremy Bicha
** Description changed:

Nautilus 3.24's app icon name is org.gnome.Nautilus instead of system-
  file-manager for better flatpak compatibility.

I have updated ubuntu-themes and humanity-icon-theme for this change
(adding a new symlink pointing to system-file-manager).

ubuntu-themes is handled via bileto so I'll ask the appropriate people
  to sponsor that separately. DONE

I pushed my change to the humanity bzr branch but I don't have upload rights
for it so I'll need sponsorship for this:
  https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-art-pkg/humanity/release/
+
+ I let other Ubuntu flavors know about this change at bug 1669663.

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1302004] Re: Indicator-datetime doesn't list in-progress events

2017-03-07 Thread Khurshid Alam
On Unity-7 this bug is easily reproducible.

1. I have more than 2 all-day events.

2. There are more 10 events starting next week (clearly after today).

Click on indicator-datetime...

1. There is on a single event listed there. There should be 2 full-day
events.

2. Instead showing all of my full-day events, it is showing those events
starting next week.

What should happen:

1. It must display today's full-day event at top before showing any
other events starting next week.

This bug is related to this bug: Bug #1293646 (Which is marked as fix

With latest update of indicator (13.10.0+14.04.20140328-0ubuntu1) it
lists all events for all past selected dates properly (which was fixed
in bug Bug #1293646) except today's date. When I click on any past
  date in calendar it shows:

  1. all all-day events for the day.
  2. all events with time for the day
  3. upcoming (future) all-day events
  4. upcoming (future) events with time

But when I click on today's date it only shows:

  1. future all day events
  2. future events with time

I still have to click on previous day's date to find out all all-day
  events for today.

The behavior (showing all events for a day) should be same for any
  date, including today's date.

  : "If there are more
than five, the events shown should be, in order of priority, * any
events that start or end (a) for today, after the current minute, or
  (b) for any other date, at any time on that date, * any full-day
events that span all of the selected date..."

This still doesn't work in zesty. If I have more than one all-day events
and couple of holiday events spans throughout the calendar, it only
shows a single full-day event. It doesn't show rest of the events.

Title:
Indicator-Datetime always shows UTC time for any online calendar added
  to evolution (Unity7, Xenial)

Status in indicator-datetime package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
My timezone is set to GMT+5:30 (Kolkata, India) from indicator
datetime settings. But when I add a online google calendar in
Evolution, events (which has start time and end time) are appearing as
UTC time. However in evolution, its all nice and evolution does
  respect my timezone.

  How to reproduce:

  1. Set google calendar timezone to match your timezone from google
  calendar settings (web).

  2. From web interface, add a event with time into that calendar. Then
  copy its private ical address.

  3. Open evolution. Add that calendar from new->calendar->on the web.

  4. reboot.

  What should happen?

If a event starts from 5 PM, indicator-datetime should reflect that.

  What is happening?

indicator-datetime shows every event starting at UTC time; i.e, in my
  case 5.30 hours leading!

  Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/gPisVnl.png

Note: It seems it only happens for online calendars. Locally created
  events are ok.

At boot the process is using over 100MB on my mako (build 129)

Does this process need to be running all the time?
Can we streamline it to not read so much of the data set, which it appears to
be doing?

With no calendar entries (i.e. removing
.local/share/evolution/xxx/calendar.ics) the process still uses over 30MB
(looking at RSS with ps aux --sort -rss )
