To quote MC, "hee hee hee".  I have a good feeling about Tobbie's 
special needs diminishing when he's adjusted to living in a home with 
great care and less stress being directed at him.  It must have been 
hellish living with an old lady with diminishing faculties.  I placed 
this wonderful older Tuxedo cat, (with my understanding sister, God 
bless her), that had been trying his damnedest to take care of an 
elderly mom with dementia.  You should see the way he's begun to 
thrive!  He looks 5 years younger and he's so happy!  Have a talk with 
Coebeio, before you bring Tobbie home.  Get her on board with helping to 
care for him.  I'm sure you'll figure out what's best for everyone 
concerned.


Oh, and I know the 'eyes averted' thing doesn't work.  I can't bring 
myself to really do it anyway!

suck it up and take my own advice.

Walking with your head down and eyes averted..yeah...that doesn't

Tobbie is an older dog...about 7-8 yrs. old.  He has digestive, neurological problems and arthritis.  Good temperment tho.
 
Yes I know there are breed rescuesand I have used themmy problem is...once I "foster" them they stay forever!  I adopted my current cat out THREE TIMES and she just kept coming back!

try to remember to walk very fast, with my eyes downcast whenever I 
leave the house :) .  What's Tobbi like?  Is he a good candidate for 
adoption?  What are his "special needs"?  I'm sure you know there are

AHHH!  See..you're not alone.  JUST as I sent this last e-mail... & like an idiot...I stepped in front of another dragon!  
 
I walk my dog and she has "friends" that we see from time to time...well I just got a call from Tobbi's "mom" that she wants him out...can't stand him anymoretake him to the pound or I'm gonna kill him myself.   (She's elderly- he has special needs- and she has been slipping mentally for several months now she's finally snapped.)  I pick Tobbi up tonight.
