DivorceThe Hindu Woman has no right to divorce her
husband.
The Muslim woman has the same right as the Muslim man in all matters
including divorce.
Property RightsShe has no property or inheritance rights.
She enjoys property and inheritance rights. (Which other religion grants
women these rights?). She can also conduct her own separate business.
Choice of Partner Choice of partner is limited because she can
only marry within her own caste; moreover her horoscope must match that of the
intending bridegroom/family.
She can marry any Muslim of her choice. If her parents choose a partner
for her, her consent must be taken.
Dowry The family of the girl has to offer an enormous dowry to
the bridegroom/family.
The dowry in Islam is a gift from a husband to his wife (not the other
way around as is practiced by some ignorant Muslims).
Widow . If her husband dies she should commit Sati (being
cremated with her dead husband). Since today's law forbids Sati, society mainly
punishes her in other holy ways (see below).
The widow is considered to be a curse and must not be seen in public. She
cannot wear jewelry or colourful clothes. (She should not even take part in her
children's marriage!)
A Muslim widow is encouraged to remarry, and her remarriage is the
responsibility of the Muslim society.
  Remarry She cannot remarry.
A Muslim widow is encouraged to remarry, and her remarriage is the
responsibility of the Muslim society.
Mixed marriage is encouraged and is a means to prevent racism creeping in
society.
Widow Mother The widow is considered to be a curse and must not
be seen in public. She cannot wear jewelry or colourful clothes. (She should
not even take part in her children's marriage!)
A Muslim mother is given the highest form of respect.

Due to the importance of the Day of Arafa`h I am here to “remind” you not to make the most of this Blessed Day, Observe Fast on this Day, and do as much as azkar Dua as you can. In Saudi Arabia , 9th Dhul-Hijjah is on Wednesday in Pakistan North America its on Thursday . So Please Dont Miss Fast on this Day: Prepare Your Sehri [Sahoo]Set your Alarm.remind other Muslims to Fast on this DayInsha Allah Fasting on the Day of Arafa'h will be an expiation for two years. Question: What is the ruling concerning the fasting the day of Arafah? Fatwa: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Fasting the day of Arafah is a supererogatory work. The Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has urged people to fast this day. Abu Qatadah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about observing the fast on the day of Arafah, he replied: "It makes amends for the sins (committed) during past year and the subsequent year. He was also asked about fasting on the day Aashoora (Tenth day of Muharram). He answered: "It atones for the sins of the preceding year”. When he was asked about fasting on Monday, he said: "This (Monday) is the day on which I was
born, and the day on which I was commissioned for Prophethood, and I received the first revelation”. As mentioned above, fasting the day of Arafah is only for those who are not performing Hajj. But, in regard to those who are performing Hajj, giving up fasting is preferable, so that they can be strong to carry out the whole ceremonies of that day such as making Du'a, staying in Arafah, going to Muzdalifah and overnight stay at Muzdalifah and the like. [IslamCity] Give your fellow Muslims their rights

2005-10-26 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

Mohammed A [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Abu Hurayrah (radhiyallaahu 'anhu - may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam - may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The rights ofa Muslim upon their fellowMuslim are six." It was said, "And what are they Oh Messenger of Allaah?" He replied, "When you meet them, givethem the greeting of peace, when they invite you, respond totheir invitation, when they seek your advice, advise them sincerely, when they sneeze and praise Allaah, supplicate for mercy upon them, when theyfall ill, visit them, and whenthey die followthem (i.e. his funeral)." MuslimThe First Right:
"When you meet them, givethem the greeting of peace." For verily the greeting of peace is a cause of love one another, which results in producing faith (Al-Eemaan), which results in the person entering the Paradise. This is as Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "By the one in Whose Hand is my soul, you all will not enter into the Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I not direct you to something that if you do it, you will love each other? Spread the greeting of peace amongst yourselves." The greeting of peace is from the virtuous characteristics of Islaam. For verily each of the two people who meet each other supplicates for the other for safety from evils, and mercy, and blessing that brings about every good. And what follows this is a cheerful face and appropriate words of greeting which
result in unity and love, and it removes feelings of estrangement and cold disassociation. Thus, giving the greeting of peace is the right of the Muslim, and it is obligatory upon the person who is greeted to return greeting with a similar greeting or one that is better than it. And the best of the people are those who start the greeting of peace first. The Second Right:
"Whenthey invite you, respond totheir invitation." This means that when he invites you with an invitation to some food and drink, then fulfill the request of your brother who has drawn near to you and honored you with the invitation. Respond to his invitation (i.e. accept it), unless you have an excuse. The Third Right:
His statement, "And when they seek your advice, advise them sincerely." This means that if he seeks consultation with you regarding some action, as to whether he should do it or not, then advise him with that which you would like for yourself. Thus, if the action is something that is beneficial in all aspects, then encourage him to do that, and if it is something harmful, then warn him against it. And if the action contains both benefit and harm, then explain that to him and weigh the benefits against the harms. Likewise, if he consults with you concerning some dealing with someone among the people, or whether he should marry a woman off to someone, or whether he should marry someone, then extend your pure and sincere advice to him, and deal with him from the view point of what you would do for you own self. And avoid deceiving him in any matter of these things. For verily whoever deceives the Muslims, then he is not of them, and indeed he has
left off the obligation of being sincere and advising. And this sincerity and advising is absolutely obligatory, however it becomes more emphasized when the person seeks your advice and he requests from you that you give him a beneficial opinion. For this reason the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) specifically mentioned it in this important situation.

The Fourth Right:
"And when they sneeze and praise Allaah, then pray for mercy upon them." This is due to the fact that sneezing is a favor from Allaah, in the expelling of this congested air that is blocked in certain parts of the body of the human being. Allaah makes it easy for this air to have a passage out where it can exit, and thus the sneezing person feels relief. Thus, the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) legislated that the person praise Allaah for this favor, and he legislated for his (Muslim) brother to say to him, "May Allaah have mercy upon you." He also commanded the person who sneezed to answer his (Muslim) brother by saying to him, "May Allaah guide you and set right your affairs." Therefore, whoever does not praise Allaah, then he does not deserve for others to pray for mercy upon him, and in this case he cannot blame anyone except himself. For he is the one who has caused himself to lose the two blessings: the blessing of praising
Allaah, and the blessing of his brother's supplication for him that is a result of the praising. The Fifth Right:
His statement, "And when they fall ill, visit them." Visiting the sick is from the rights of the Muslim, and especially for the person who has a highly stressed and emphasized right upon you, like the relative, and the friend, and so forth. It is from the best of the righteous deeds. And whoever visitstheir fellowMuslim, they remain

[IslamCity] Nail Polish

2005-09-17 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

"A. Mohammed Rafi Aamiri" [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Nail Polish
Ladies use nail polish so that they may look beautiful. But in fact, all types of nail polish destroy the natural beauty of the nails. Allah (SWT) has spread a net of small arteries under the nails. Blood circulates constantly in these arteries, giving the nails a red tint. But when the nail polish is coated on the nails for a long time, they become ugly, colorless and rough. Women are also very fond of growing their nails like the beasts. For this purpose, they seem ready to face every type of difficulty. Seeing their absurd eagerness, different companies are earning a lot. They are producing artificial nails of different colors, which are fixed on real nails. This practice does not befit a Muslim lady because the Holy Prophet (SAW) ordered us to remove the nails and said that cutting nails is one of ten natural things. To grow nails is not an
Islamic practice; it has NOTHING to do with Islamic culture and civilization. A Physician of Medical Center New York University said, "The use of nail polish makes nails hard, and the remover makes them harder, and ultimately they become brittle." If blood circulation decreases, the nails become thin, ugly and yellow. The Holy Prophet (SAW) had counted the practice of cutting nails among the ten natural things. A Muslim MUST believe that blessing lies within the limits described by the Prophet (SAW) and no doubt blessing is there. Doctor Saeed Rana observes that germs seek a shelter in long nails and they get themselves mixed in water and other eatables. The nail polish remover destroys the surface of the nails as it removes thin shells from the nails. The shine or luster of the nails also goes and nails become colorless and rough.
For How Long Have You Been Using Nail Polish? Many ladies suffer from different diseases simply because of using nail polish but they don’t know the real cause of their disease and are moving from doctor to doctor in search of treatment. I would like to quote just one example which a physician, Tariq Mahmood Chughtai, narrated. The physician write, "Nails are also something living like a human body. They need fresh air, oxygen and water. If they experience pain, they whole body will show the signs and effects of this pain. A woman
had boils on her hands. She was also experiencing horrible itch. She visited many doctors but the efforts of the doctors remained fruitless. At last she visited a skin specialist. After examining the patient, the doctor asked her for how long she was using nail polish on her nails. She replied that she was doing so for the last 5 years. She told the doctor that she was suffering from the disease for the last 5 years as well. The doctor advised her to stop using nail polish. He prescribed her some medicine and she was OK just within three weeks. Different colors have their own effects on human health. Nail polish plugs the pores of the nails and the chemicals it contains cause different diseases.Faqeer Sufi Jawaid Iqbal Qadri Irshadi Muhammadi

[IslamCity] A Prostitute was forgiven by Allah

2005-08-27 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

Syeda Muneeba Masood [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

A PROSTITUTE WAS FORGIVEN BY ALLAHAuthor: Syeda Muneeba Masood
Assalam o Alaikum,
Dear Readers,
Allah is all merciful and forgiving. We being his creatures cannot imagine how our Lordshower His blessings overus.
People who seem to be sinners to others are sometimes greatly blessed by the mercy of Allah. Any act done with pure intention is worth for Allah and He rewards us more than our imagination. And a little particle of sin may make us loose Allah's blessings and take us to Hell, no matter how punctual we are in performing obligations of Islam.
That’s why we should not make any justifications about the good deeds and sins of others. Allah is watching all of us. We are tiny human beings, The Lord is all knowing.
If you go through the following Hadith extracted from Sahi Bukhari, you will realize that a good deed which seems to be very little time consuming can save a person from Hell fire.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." (Book #54, Hadith #538)
In the above Hadith a prostitute for forgiven by Allah because of kind heartedness she showed towards a living being.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water from it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The man said, 'This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), filled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?" He replied, "Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate." (Book #40, Hadith #551)
The aboveis another event extracted from the history, which is about a man who gave water to a thirsty dog and he was forgiven by Allah.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger." Allah's Apostle further said, (Allah knows better) Allah said (to the woman), 'You neither fed it nor watered when you locked it up, nor did you set it free to eat the insects of the earth." (Book #40, Hadith #553)
On the other hand theabove Hadith gives us a great lesson. This Hadith is enough to realize that every act done by us is recorded in the books of Allah. The woman who was not a prostitute was put in Hell because of the violence she showed for an innocent cat.
No doubt the performance of obligations of Islam is must for a Muslim but good deeds and bad deeds also play a very important role in our lives here and hereafter. This world is the first and the last place to earn reward for hereafter. Silently compete with each other to earn rewards.

[IslamCity] Forgive Debt, if Debtor is Poor

2005-08-21 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

FORGIVE THE DEBT, IF THE DEBTOR IS POORAuthor: Syeda Muneeba Masood
Assalam o Alaikum,Dear Sisters BrothersAllah is kind, all merciful and forgiving and that’s what he wants us to be towards His creatures. Creditors often have rude behavior towards debtors, which is not liked in Islam. Creditors should give time to debtors to pay back the debt and loan. If debtor is poor and needy then creditor should behave leniently towards him, instead of cursing or tensing him for debts. Our beloved Prophet Mohammad (SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam) has advised us to forgive the debt and not to take it back, if the debtor is poor. By doing so one can earn high rewards from Allah in the life hereafter and blessings and mercy of Almighty in this world as well.

HADITHNarrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A man used to give loans to the people and used to say to his servant, 'If the debtor is poor, forgive him, so that Allah may forgive us.' So when he met Allah (after his death), Allah forgave him." (Book #56, Hadith #687)
The above Hadith is enough to explain the virtues of forgiving debts and caring the poor. The wealth of Heaven is never ending, strive for that. Don’t run after the wealth of this Earth which is nothing but worthless than the wing of mosquito.Faqeer Sufi Jawaid Iqbal Qadri Irshadi Muhammadi

[IslamCity] Lesson from Disabled People

2005-07-27 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

Lesson from Disabled People Once, a visitor was being shown around a leper colony in India. The colony was built to provide a shelter for those people who were poor and had various physical disabilities. At noon a gong (a metal disk that produces a sound when hit with a hammer) sounded to gather the inhabitants for the midday meal. People came from all parts of the compound to the dining hall. Suddenly, everyone started laughing at seeing two young men, one riding on the other's back, pretending to be a horse and a rider. They were having lots of fun. As the visitor watched, he was told that the man who carried his friend was blind, and the man being carried was lame (who couldn't walk). The one who couldn't see used his feet; the one who couldn't walk used his eyes. Together they helped each other and reached their destination. Let us use each other's
strengths to make up for the weaknesses of others. Our strength is in unity, not in division. Faqeer Sufi Jawaid Iqbal Qadri Irshadi Muhammadi

Abu Talib called his nephew and explained the situation and entreated him not to put any strain on him by antagonizing the tribes. The Prophet faced a great crisis and the only support he could depend upon was now wavering. The movement was face to face with the greatest peril. Yet, the Prophet, with his characteristic fortitude born of this conviction, replied:

Dear uncle, by God, if these people even put the sun on my right hand and the moon on my left and ask me to give up my mission, I will not do it, even if I lose my life in the struggle.

This was the voice which changed the course of history and crushed all opposition and obstacles, but the quraish could not realize its force. Abu Talib, however, was impressed and said to the Prophet:

Now dear nephew, preach whatever you wish. I will never give you up on any account.

[IslamCity] Why is a man allowed to have more than one wife Islam?

2005-05-07 Thread MUHAMMAD YAMEEN

forever in ISLAM [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Question:
Why is a man allowed to have more than one wife in Islam? i.e. why is polygamy allowed in Islam?
Answer:
1. Definition of Polygamy
Polygamy means a system of marriage whereby one person has more than one spouse. Polygamy can be of two types. One is polygyny where a man marries more than one woman, and the other is polyandry, where a woman marries more than one man. In Islam, limited polygyny is permitted; whereas polyandry is completely prohibited.
Now coming to the original question, why is a man allowed to have more than one wife?
2. The Qur'an is the only religious scripture in the world that says,"marry only one".
The Qur'an is the only religious book, on the face of this earth, that contains the phrase `marry only one'. There is no other religious book that instructs men to have only one wife. In none of the other religious scriptures, whether it be the Vedas, the Ramayan, the Mahabharat, the Geeta, the Talmud or the Bible does one find a restriction on the number of wives. According to these scriptures one can marry as many as one wishes. It was only later, that the Hindu priests and the Christian Church restricted the number of wives to one.
Many Hindu religious personalities, according to their scriptures, had multiple wives. King Dashrat, the father of Rama, had more than one wife. Krishna had several wives.
In earlier times, Christian men were permitted as many wives as they wished, since the Bible puts no restriction on the number of wives. It was only a few centuries ago that the Church restricted the number of wives to one.
Polygyny is permitted in Judaism. According to Talmudic law, Abraham had three wives, and Solomon had hundreds of wives. The practice of polygyny continued till Rabbi Gershom ben Yehudah (960 C.E to 1030 C.E) issued an edict against it. The Jewish Sephardic communities living in Muslim countries continued the practice till as late as 1950, until an Act of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel extended the ban on marrying more than one wife.
3. Hindus are more polygynous than Muslims
The report of the `Committee of The Status of Woman in Islam', published in 1975 mentions on page numbers 66 and 67 that the percentage of polygamous marriages between the years 1951 and 1961 was 5.06% among the Hindus and only 4.31% among the Muslims.
According to Indian law only Muslim men are permitted to have more than one wife. It is illegal for any non-Muslim in India to have more than one wife. Despite it being illegal, Hindus have more multiple wives as compared to Muslims. Earlier, there was no restriction even on Hindu men with respect to the number of wives allowed. It was only in 1954, when the Hindu Marriage Act was passed that it became illegal for a Hindu to have more than one wife. At present it is the Indian Law that restricts a Hindu man from having more than one wife and not the Hindu scriptures.
Let us now analyse why Islam allows a man to have more than one wife.
4. Qur'an permits limited polygyny
As I mentioned earlier, Qur'an is the only religious book on the face of the earth that says `marry only one'. The context of this phrase is the following verse from Surah Nisa of the Glorious Qur'an:
"Marry women of your choice, two, or three, or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one."
 [Al-Qur'an 4:3]
Before the Qur'an was revealed, there was no upper limit for polygyny and many men had scores of wives, some even hundreds. Islam put an upper limit of four wives. Islam gives a man permission to marry two, three or four women, only on the condition that he deals justly with them.
In the same chapter i.e. Surah Nisa verse 129 says:
"Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women" [Al-Qur'an 4:129]
Therefore polygyny is not a rule but an exception. Many people are under the misconception that it is compulsory for a Muslim man to have more than one wife.
Broadly, Islam has five categories of Do's and Don'ts:
 i. `Fard' i.e. compulsory of obligatory
ii. `Mustahab' i.e. recommended or encouraged
iii. `Mubah' i.e. permissible or allowed
iv. `Makruh' i.e. not recommended or discouraged
 v. `Haraam' i.e. prohibited or forbidden
Polygyny falls in the middle category of things that are permissible. It cannot be said that a Muslim who has two, three or four wives is a better Muslim as compared to a Muslim who has only one wife.
5. Average life span of females is more than that of males
By nature males and females are born in approximately the same ratio. A female child has more immunity than a male child. A female child can fight the germs and diseases better than the male child. For this reason, during the pediatric age itself there are more deaths among males as compared to the females.
During wars, there are more men killed as compared to women. More men die due to accidents and diseases than women. The average life span of females is more than that of males, and at

I was ordered to prostrate and I disobeyed, so for me is the Hell." [Ibn-e-Maaja]1. There are fourteen places of sajdah-e-tilaawat in the Quran. Wherever the word "sajdah" appears on the margin of the Quran, then on reciting that verse, sajdah becomes wajib. This sajdah is known as sajdah-e-tilaawat.
2. The method of making sajdah-e-tilaawat is as follows: the person should stand straight firstthen say Allahu Akbar and go into sajdah. When saying Allahu Akbar the hands should not be raised. While in sajdah, he should say: Sub-hana Rabbi-yal Aala, at least three times. Thereafter, he should say Allahu Akbar and raise his head. The sajdah-e-tilaawat is now complete.
3. It is preferable to stand up, say Allahu Akbar and go into sajdah. And thereafter to say Allahu Akbar and stand up from the sajdah. It is also permissible to go into sajdah and come up from it while in the sitting position without standing up at all.
4. Sajdah-e-tilaawat becomes wajib on the person who recites a verse of sajdah and also on the person who hears it being recited. This is irrespective of whether the person had sat down with the intention of listening to the Quran, whether he was preoccupied with some work, or whether he heard it without intending to listen to it. It is therefore better to recite the verse of sajdah softly so that sajdah-e-tilaawat does not become wajib on anyone else.
5. Those factors that are a prerequisite for salaat are also prerequisites for sajdah-e-tilaawat. That is, the person must be in a state of wudu, the place must be clean, the body and clothing must be pure, sajdah must be made in the direction of the qiblah, etc.
6. Sajdah-e-tilaawat should be made in the same way as sajdah is made in salaat. Some people make their sajdah on the Quran itself. Sajdah in this manner is not valid and one is not absolved from this wajib.
7. If a person does not have wudu at that time, he could make wudu at a later stage and then make the sajdah. It is not necessary to make sajdah immediately. However, it is better to make it immediately because it is possible that the person might forget later.
8. If a person has several sajdah-e-tilaawats to make and has not made them till now, he should make them now. He should make them at some time or the other of his life. If he does not do so he will be sinning.
9. If a woman hears a verse of sajdah while she is in her haid or nifaas, sajdah-e-tilaawat is not wajib on her. But if she hears it when she is in a state when ghusl was wajib on her, it will be wajib on her to make sajdah-e-tilaawat after having a bath.
10. If a person hears the verse while he is very ill and does not have the strength to make sajdah, he should make sajdah-e-tilaawat just as he makes the sajdah of salaat through gestures.
11. If a person recites a verse of sajdah while he is in salaat, then upon reciting the verse he should immediately go into sajdah, thereafter continue with the rest of the Surah, and then go into ruku. If a person does not go immediately into sajdah, but goes into sajdah after reciting two or three more verses, this sajdah will still be proper. And if he recites several more verses and then goes into sajdah, the sajdah will be proper but he will be sinning.
12. If he recites a verse of sajdah while in salaat but does not make sajdah in the salaat, the sajdah will not be valid if he makes it out of salaat. He will remain a sinner forever. Now there is no way of absolving himself except through repentance and seeking forgiveness.
13. If a person recites a verse of sajdah and immediately thereafter goes into ruku and makes this intention that he is making this ruku for the sajdah-e-tilaawat as well, even then the sajdah will be considered to be valid. If he did not make this intention in his ruku, the sajdahs that he makes after the ruku will also suffice for the sajdah-e-tilaawat. This is irrespective of whether he makes any intention or not.
14. While in salaat, a person hears a verse of sajdah being recited by someone else. He should not make sajdah-e-tilaawat in his salaat but after completing his salaat. If he makes it in his salaat it will not be valid. He will have to repeat it, and he will also be committing a sin.
15. A person was sitting in one place and reciting the same verse of sajdah several times- only one sajdah-e-tilaawat will be wajib. He could either recite that verse as many times as he wishes and then make one sajdah right at the end, or he could recite that verse once, make one sajdah and then recite that verse as many times as he wishes.

Those who bear the throne and those round about it, celebrate the praise of theirLord and believe in Him, and they ask forgiveness for the Believers: `our Lord,Thou embracest everything in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repented and followed Thy way, and save them from the punishment of Hell.(7)
And our Lord, admit them to the gardens of eternity that thou hast promised them, and also those of their fathers, their wives and their offspring who acted right;surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise;(8)
and save them from evils; and whomsoever Thou savest from evils on that day,Thou hast had mercy on him; and that is the mighty triumph.'(9)
To the unbelievers it shall be pronounced, `God's abhorrence was greater than your own abhorrence of yourselves, when you were called to belief and you disbelieved'.(10)
They shall say, `Our Lord, Thou hast made us to die twice, and thou hast madeus to live twice; now we confess our sins; is there any way to go forth?' __ (11)
`This is because when God alone was called upon, you disbelieved, but if He wasassociated with others, you believed; now Judgement belongs to God, the High, the great.'(12)

A SUNNAH OF PROPHET - MISWAAK
Miswaak Quick View of Benefits:
Advantages of Miswaak:

Miswaak creates a fragrance in the mouth. 4. Miswaak is a cure for illness. 5. Miswaak eliminates bad odors and improves the sense of taste. 6. Miswaak sharpens the memory. 7. Times when usage of Miswaak is Sunnah:
1. For the recitation of the Qur'an. 2. For the recitation of Hadith. 3. When the mouth emits and odor. 4. For the learning or teaching of virtues of Islaam. 5. How should it be used?
A Miswaak should be held in such a manner that the small finger and thumb is below the miswaak and the remaining fingers on its upper side.
So, dear friends, do you see how easy it is to gain the pleasure of Allah SWT and also stay in good health?!
So... GET YOURS TODAY! Now let's get into more details...
Miswaak: The Whole Story THE MISWAAK
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) laid great stress on the use of Miswaak (a tree-twig used for cleansing the teeth). One of the Sunnats of Wudhu is to use a Miswaak. Wherever a Miswaak is available and is not used, the full beauty and complete Sawaab (regard) of Wudhu is not realised. There are numerous benefits and advantages in using Miswaak.
HISTORY OF MISWAAK
Miswaak, a tree-twig, was in use for brushing and cleansing the teeth long before the advent of our Holy Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). In fact the records of our Nabi Muhummad's (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) Ahadith indicate that Miswaak was the "Sunnah" or practice of all the Ambiyaa (Prophets of Allah)—Peace be upon them.
Abu Ayyub (R) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:
'Four things are amongst the practices of the Ambiyaa —circumcision, application of perfume, Miswaak and marriage'. (AHMAD AND TIRMIZI)
Several other Ahadith of our Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) also mention the Miswaak to have been the practice of the Prophets (Upon Whom Be Peace). Thus, we can safely claim that the practice of using Miswaak is as old as mankind itself since Mankind's origin on the planet was with the appearance of the first Nabi of Allah, viz. Adam (A.S.). Therefore, among the many advantages and benefits of using the Miswaak, one of the greatest benefits is the good-fortune of being associated with the Ambiyaa in this holy practice. On the other hand, those who neglect the use of Miswaak invite upon themselves a great misfortune by being deprived of the tremendous amount of Sawaab (Reward) which this noble practice carries.
Allamah Ibn Ismail says:
"It surprises me how people could forgo such a great Sunnah, the significance of which many Ahadith of our Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) explain. Remember that it is a great loss to neglect the Miswaak."
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MISWAAK IN ISLAM
Islam has accorded an elevated status to Miswaak. Its importance has been stressed in many Ahadith of our Holy Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). The statements and examples of the Sahaba and the Ulama of Islam regarding this practice bear testimony in abundance of the significance of Miswaak.
Ibn Umar (R) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:
'Make a regular practice of the Miswaak, for verily, it is healthy for the mouth and it is a Pleasure for the Creator (i.e. Allah is pleased with the Muslim who uses the Miswaak)'." (BUKHARI)
It is clear from this Hadith that two types of benefits accrue from the use of Miswaak. These could be categorised as follows:
(1) UKHRAWI or Benefits which relate to the Hereafter; (2) DUNYAWI or Benefits which relate to this worldly life.
The Ukhrawi category comprises the various Sawaabs (Rewards) which the Servant of Allah will obtain in the Hereafter for using

How We Should Treat The Orphans:
In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

1. Therefore Oppress not the Orphan.(AlQuran.Surah AlZuhaa.Para # 30)
2. And give unto Orphans their Wealth. and Exchange not the good for the bad (In your management thereof).Nor Absorb their Wealth into your Own Wealth. Surly that would be a Great Sin.(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)
3. And give not unto the Unintelligent (What is in) your (keeping of their) Wealth, which Allah hath given you to maintain; but Feed And Clothe them from it and Speak Kindly unto them.(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)
4. And Test the Orphans till they reach the Marriageable age; then if ye found them of Sound Judgement deliver unto them their Fortunes; and Devour them not by Squandering and in haste lest they should grow up.(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)
5. Surely those who Devour the Wealth fully, they do but Swallow Fire into their Bellies , and they will be Exposed To Burning Flames.(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)
