[kompare] [Bug 390024] "Compare" button not enabled on the initial dialog even after filling the file names
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390024 --- Comment #6 from Jeremy Whiting --- https://cgit.kde.org/kio.git/commit/?id=a43aea3ebc697fad4be8be821b94c8374d08 is definitely the cause undoing the bits of that commit in kurlrequester.cpp fix the bug, but I'm not sure why yet. We are connecting to KURLRequester's textChanged signal in kompare, but we are changing the KURLRequester's KUrlComboBox itself with setUrl when those buttons are clicked. KUrlComboBox::setUrl turns off its own signals, so I don't see how that ever worked except that we were connected to the lineedit rather than the QComboBox I guess. A simple fix is in KUrlComboBox setUrl to emit textChanged after changing the url in setUrl, but I'm not sure if that makes the most sense or not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

(Or a heaptrack website) I'm wondering two things: 1) Has anyone built heaptrack on a Cray and is there anything special I have to do, since Cray loves to go in and change the OS, and tweak all sorts of things 2) How feasible would it be to port the heaptrack utility (not the gui) to macOS? I may give that a whirl and then create a homebrew formula for it. [Spectacle] [Bug 389695] Save action should show notification popup just like Save & Exit
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389695 Henrik Fehlauer changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Latest Commit||https://commits.kde.org/spe ||ctacle/7034b50c5c9ef9c97ec0 ||b7741f3667a93d9a567a Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #6 from Henrik Fehlauer --- Git commit 7034b50c5c9ef9c97ec0b7741f3667a93d9a567a by Henrik Fehlauer. Committed on 14/02/2018 at 22:46. Pushed by rkflx into branch 'master'. Add action to open screenshots folder to tools menu Summary: With {nav Quit after Save or Copy} checked, there is a desktop notification when saving which allows to open the folder containing the saved screenshot. However, when the user opts to let the window stay open, only the title will reflect the filename of the saved screenshot. It's quite hard to know in which folder it was saved and not that easy to open that folder. By introducing {nav Tools > Open Screenshots Folder}, usability in that regard is much-improved. When no screenshot has been saved yet, it will open the last {nav Save As} folder or the default {nav Save} location depending on the button state. As soon as a screenshot is saved, the new action will highlight the new screenshot in the filemanager. Depends on D10467 Ref T7841 Test Plan: For {nav Save} and {nav Save As} each, click on new menu entry after starting Spectacle as well as after saving. Also test everything with `fish:/` (but beware of Bug 390297). {F5705490} Reviewers: #spectacle, ngraham Reviewed By: #spectacle, ngraham Subscribers: ngraham Maniphest Tasks: T7841 Differential Revision: https://phabricator.kde.org/D10470 M +1-1doc/index.docbook M +11 -1src/ExportManager.cpp M +3-1src/ExportManager.h M +29 -1src/Gui/KSMainWindow.cpp M +1-0src/Gui/KSMainWindow.h https://commits.kde.org/spectacle/7034b50c5c9ef9c97ec0b7741f3667a93d9a567a -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Spectacle] [Bug 389691] Ambiguous shortcut warning when pressing Ctrl+Q, Ctrl+S or Ctrl+Shift+S
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389691 Henrik Fehlauer changed: What|Removed |Added Latest Commit||https://commits.kde.org/spe ||ctacle/3f9e76afb161d00880f4 ||200d8059ec47375467ca Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #5 from Henrik Fehlauer --- Git commit 3f9e76afb161d00880f4200d8059ec47375467ca by Henrik Fehlauer. Committed on 14/02/2018 at 22:38. Pushed by rkflx into branch 'master'. Fix ambiguous shortcut warning when pressing save shortcuts Summary: When {nav Remember last used save mode} is enabled, pressing {key Ctrl S} or {key Ctrl Shift S} repeatedly would result in a ambiguous shortcut warning dialog. This is because on every save the action was re-added to the dropdown button, resulting in multiple shortcuts. It should be enough to set the actions once, and then only swap the default action. Depends on D10468 Ref T7841 Test Plan: Press {key Ctrl S} twice, no warning dialog is shown anymore. Both {nav Save} options still work as before and the last-used button is set as the default. [trojita] [Bug 390452] HTML Backchannel in Trojitá Mail Client: DNS Prefetching
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390452 --- Comment #4 from Caspar Schutijser --- I looked at the QtWebkit source code and this piece of code caught my attention: 4729 void Document::initDNSPrefetch() 4730 { 4731 Settings* settings = this->settings(); 4732 4733 m_haveExplicitlyDisabledDNSPrefetch = false; 4734 m_isDNSPrefetchEnabled = settings && settings->dnsPrefetchingEnabled() && securityOrigin()->protocol() == "http"; 4735 4736 // Inherit DNS prefetch opt-out from parent frame 4737 if (Document* parent = parentDocument()) { 4738 if (!parent->isDNSPrefetchEnabled()) 4739 m_isDNSPrefetchEnabled = false; 4740 } 4741 } 4742 4743 void Document::parseDNSPrefetchControlHeader(const String& dnsPrefetchControl) 4744 { 4745 if (equalIgnoringCase(dnsPrefetchControl, "on") && !m_haveExplicitlyDisabledDNSPrefetch) { 4746 m_isDNSPrefetchEnabled = true; 4747 return; 4748 } 4749 4750 m_isDNSPrefetchEnabled = false; 4751 m_haveExplicitlyDisabledDNSPrefetch = true; 4752 } Source: https://github.com/qt/qtwebkit/blob/5.9/Source/WebCore/dom/Document.cpp#L4729 The way I read the code: when initializing the DNS prefetch code, the settings regarding DNS prefetching are taken into account (line 4734), but when DNS prefetching is turned on by the "website", for instance with a header or the http-equiv meta tag, the settings are ignored and DNS prefetching is turned on regardless (line 4746). To verify my assumption, I applied the diff found at the bottom to the QtWebkit code and observed stdout while running trojita. When opening one of those emails in Trojita, this is what I see on stdout: initDNSPrefetch(): DNS prefetching disabled in settings initDNSPrefetch(): DNS prefetching disabled in settings Processing HTTP equiv: parseDNSPrefetchControlHeader(): turning DNS prefetching on This seems to confirm my understanding of the code. So the way I see it, there is no easy, straightforward way for us to disable this behavior in (Qt)Webkit. Do you agree with my analysis?
