Mmm, this is rather strange, I cannot find a directory called /usr/ 
local/...


Spotlight isn't finding beameruserguide.pdf

I did use MacTex to install

 In the  FInder choose from the Go menu Go to Folder, In there type / 
usr og any directory you want to go to.
Not all folders are visible int the Finder but it is possible to see  
all folders using this.
