Re: [MBZ] I was nearly killed today
I broke my wrist back in 2002 which was my first experience with good legal drugs. Gotta say I understand why people get hooked on the things. Didn't take the pain away, just made me not care. As soon as I could tolerate life without them I took 'em to the police station drop box. -Curt On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, 7:43:28 PM EDT, Max Dillon via Mercedes wrote: Three words: good pain killers. When I slipped and fell in a bath tub (landed hard on right side rib cage on the edge of the tub) it knocked the wind out of me for so long that my wife called 911. Once the EMTs got there I was breathing fine again. They shared that if I had broken or cracked ribs, adrenaline would keep the pain at bay for several hours, but warned that once the pain hit, sleep and movement would be very painful. I went to a doc in a box to get some serious pain killers and asked about an x-ray to determine if I'd broken a rib. I am not really sure if that happened or not. I think if it was a cracked or broken rib I would be in worse pain but never broken anything so i dont know. Fixing to head off to bed so will see what I am like in the morning. I have GOT to get this rental house done this week. Next week I am out of town for the week for work.
