Re: [MBZ] good fuel hose
I bought some of the Gates 400 PSI transmission cooler line. It should be compatible with petroleum Dissel. It is a grade or two up from what they sell as fuel line. The first time I replaced it in the Dogde van, the OE stuff only lasted 7-8 yrs. The rplancement trnas cooler hoses only lasted a yr or two. The last time, it was the gates stuff, and they lasted 7-8 yrs so far in transmission service. (higher temps and pressures) Anything Trident will be excellent stuff. Various diameters and applications. http://www.amazon.com/Trident-TR38-Marine-Grade-Fuel/dp/B00D2C1ZO8 On Apr 25, 2016 8:14 AM, "Dan Penoff via Mercedes"wrote: I think the short hoses without fittings are really bulk hose at the dealer.
