[MLO] Re: Show dated items in calendar?
I am reevaluating my GTD tools due to the lack of this feature. Achieve Planner, TaskMerlin, EssentialPim Pro are likely candidates, with AP trumping at this time. On Jul 7, 9:29 pm, Fletcher fletcher.kauff...@gmail.com wrote: I feel your pain. For me, this is one of the biggest gaps in having MLO have me be really productive: there's no automatic way to relate tasks to when they will happen (not just when they are due). Ideally, I could set some constraints on my calendar (only schedule 10am to 4pm or something) and then have MLO tell me what I'm doing every minute of the day and have it re-generate itself as things are completed or things move. But, as a start, yes-- it would be handy simply to see the due dates on a calendar. Sync'ing with Outlook only produces Tasks (or that is my understanding)-- I was just wondering if there was a very circuitous way to go from MLO -- Outlook -- MS Project (since I have it available), but that seems well beyond necessary. Glad someone else raised the issue, though! Can you confirm this is indeed not possible in MLO? Is there an add-on that would do this? Re: [MLO] In a world without smartphones..
Kanban view would be awesome and I presume not too difficult to implement in the new MLO 4 tabbed view. Each entry would simply need another field - backlog / doing / done and would be able to poll priority from the already existing fields - urgency and priority. Then, another view would simply be crated with the 3 vertical swimlanes (backlog, doing, done). Further ideas for functionality could subsequently be added with say, a horizontal swimlane - tasks with due dates on the top and non-dated tasks on the bottom. What an awesome addition this would be!! MLO is great but lacking visual cues on project / task progress which KANBAN adds. I do not wish to use two tools for the job. Please consider adding! Maybe but he might not have been able to hire the developers he did or capture the greater mind share he has by making MLO a more widely known brand. Who knows what the right choice. Personally I'm waiting for Andrey to add a Personal Kanban view to MLO (not holding my breath). [MLO] Re: MyLifeOrganized for Android v.2
Dude, get an Android 4 phone. You can get new quad cores with 1 GB RAM for 50 EUR, e.g. ZTE Blade V. You really have no excuse and are definitely in the 5% minority. I want a fully featured MLO making use of all API improvements and firmly believe that the remaining 95% of MLO users should not be penalised due to fringe cases such as Android 2.* users. On Wednesday, 10 September 2014 20:16:18 UTC+3, Nathan G wrote: I may be in the minority, but I just want to say: Please don't orphan Android 2 phones! I'm using Android 2 on an HTC Wildfire S phone and I plan to keep it for the foreseeable future. I plan to purchase the PRO versions of MLO for both my phone and my PC before my trial period runs out. Some of us use the devices as 'hand me down'. I don't have the money or the time right now to invest in a new phone. I've spent a bit of work getting this one running well and the way that I want it to. Android MLO version 1.6.9 basically works for me. So I guess I could keep using that. There are some things I'd love to see improved, though, so I'd be sad to lose out on new updates. But if Android MLO 2.0 is for Android 4, please keep 1.6 available and working for older phone users. Nathan On Friday, August 15, 2014 3:02:17 PM UTC+1, natG wrote: Drop the old baggage. [MLO] Re: MLO Windows sort by context
Ok found this functionality in the filter options. My thinking was being able to click on the 'context' title and for it to do it automatically. Actually, the items get copied, but the originals remain if doing cut paste. On Thursday, 6 January 2022 at 06:07:19 UTC+2 alex.bsc wrote: > What the title says. [MLO] View to group by week, month, quarter
Hi. I am trying to set goals and implement GTD at the same time. One of the principles of GTD is to file todos by day, with todos farther out grouped by month. What I would love to see is a filter that automatically groups item due dates or some other date parameter by day, week, month, QUARTER or year, similar to the e.g. Completed Recently view.
