RE: May PUG is up
I always look but seldom comment. I find it interesting to see how others interpret the theme. I always enjoy those that push the interpretation. I think of Alan's Panorama a while ago. I did try to think of something for this months on the lines of the question "Is there still life in this?" I did enjoy Rick's picture of the desk. I brought back memories of a similar one that my mother had. -Original Message- From: Brian Walters Sent: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 6:42 AM To: pdml@pdml.net Subject: Re: May PUG is up On 7/05/2024 7:34 am, Stan Halpin wrote: > I thought it was a fine (Small!) gallery. I care, but seldom have anything I think is good enough to submit. I thought it was a fine (Small!) gallery. Like Ann, I had some issues trying to relate to the theme, and I went a bit outside the bounds with my own contribution. Looking at the contributions of others, I was reminded of images I do have with a similar theme, but Still Life is just not embedded in my vocabulary and I hadn’t considered those earlier. Re: May PUG is up
Ralf and all... I made a comment that didnt bounce back to me and it looks like I had hit reply instead of reply all so int only went to Brian This is what I wrote 2 days ago .. a very pleasing group.. but I notice the scarcity of submissions - guess I'm not the only one not into doing still lifes 🙂 I thought of submitting one of my ebay images but that didn't seem right. also considered a photo ofone of my Mom's paintings that are still lifes.. couldn't get into it. Other stuff on my mind. ann On 5/6/2024 4:03 PM, Ralf R Radermacher wrote: Am 05.05.24 um 12:43 schrieb Brian Walters: G'day all Enjoy the gallery here: http://pug.komkon.org/ Don't people care any longer? And a nice Convair. We don't see those over here. In fact, any delta wing except for various Mirages and the (very) odd SAAB is quite unusual. > On 05/05/2024 22:47 BST Larry Colen wrote: > > > I first saw this airport on a hike about a year ago, I finally rode my bike > down to Flabob yesterday afternoon. > > https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/albums/72177720316721251/ > > -- > Larry Colen > l...@red4est.com. sent from Mirkwood > > > -- > %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List > To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
