[SlimDevices: Plugins] KidsPlay - trouble playing playlist
I've setup a KidsPlay macro (Radio preset buton) to start playing a specific playlist, but the playlist isn't played. Setup based on the example on the plugins page. I'm also using a macro for genre playing, which is working perfectly. The playlist is created using the LMS (or actually through iPeng) and stored in the default playlist folder. A favourite has previously been assigned to the preset button in question. When executed it looks like at least some of the macro is run - namely the part clearing the active playlist, so it may be that it's only related to the playlist parsing. At this point i just have the name of the playlist... Does the macro need to point to the full path of the playlist or is it OK to use only the name (as the example seems to indicate). Any help will be much appreciated. Hello, First of all, I really like triode's spotify plugin. And very much the last.fm integration and recent albums/artist lists. Last.fm could maybe be made with the same functions as the app in Spotify on Windows. Still the plugin is much better than the original by logitech. but: I recently bought a secondhand duet. Now I have about the same problem with the Triode Spotify plugin on my Duet, while it works great on my SB Radio. My problem-description: 1.I power up my duet 2.I play a song or album with triode's spotify plugin 3.After five to fifteen seconds playing it starts rebuffering and skipping songs 4.I pause the player 5.I wait a few minutes 6.I start the song and album again 7.It keeps playing and playing like nothings wrong 8.I never power down again because if I do: return to 1. I have a problem like this when I power down my SBRadio without shutting it down (simple unplug). After restarting the radio everything works fine accept spotify. After restarting the radio with the power-button spotify works again. Is there a workaround for a problem like this or do you need a log? BR soulgazer The player should be the one selected when you entered settings - looks like I will need to make this an option. As for getting rebuffering and no results in real use - was the streaming with the test ok, it should measure the streaming rate over an entire track and indicate that it can stream ok. Try doing the test with your main player selected and see what it says/sounds like? There are normally two causes of streaming problems - problems at the spotify end and problems with your the internet service. You can try to continue streaming for a while for the first one as the plugin will try to move servers to find one which is not congested. However I would expect the test to say it was not streaming ok. -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I am getting a lot of Can't resolve IP address for ww.bbc.co.uk at the moment, and am wondering about the cause, and what I should do about it. I am busy with a large online backup, and it would not surprise me if that is preventing Logitech Media Server getting to my ISP quickly enough.
