Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I've tried to use the option to select my start-up player, but it's not working - it seems to ignore my selection and goes back to the previously controlled Squeezebox. Anyone else get this working? Any suggestions? http://10.0.2.5:9002/material/?player=00:04:20:07:35:c8 I'm running the material skin with LMS 7.9.1 on a Synology NAS. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
Think you might be dissapointed 1) All Rasbian OS are back compatible with previous Hardware ( I have tried running LMS and Squeezelite on Stretch on a rpi1B with cirruslogic dac. It did work but was painfully slow. piCorePlayer is much better in this instance imho. 2) Raspbian people advise a fresh install of Buster (I have it running on a rpi3B, without problem). Over on the raspberry pi forum some folk say that it is possible to update a Stretch OS and then edit two files (I'm not going to search out which ones) and replace the word Sretch with Buster, wherever it occurs. Apparently, this worked for some, going from Jessie to Stretch but is not recommended, or guaranteed to work. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: PlayHLS Plugin - plugin to play Apple HLS m3u8 stream
Raymond Woodward wrote: > It also plays with V1 of the plug in and the current 7.92 LMS ... Until I find the "audio gap" problem in V2 - I'm leaving V1 as the stable PlayHLS player. However I am aware that V1 is broken for some streams (e.g. AFL) so there is some urgency to fixing V2. The plan is that V2 becomes the main HLS player but leave the V1 available using a different repo URL. I think V2 is a better long term as it works on any LMS (OS agnostic) avoiding an ffmpeg install, the overhead of running ffmpeg, quicker turnaround fixing HLS bugs and provides access to in-stream metadata (particularly in iHeart streams which has been requested by iHeart plugin users). bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103158 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The App had been in place over a long period of time and was subjected to IOS upgrades, phone upgrades and also any upgrades that the iPeng App would have undergone.
