Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Ratings Light
Hello, as of today all my ratings have disappeared. I had a couple of rescans and also some files of the file system have gone missing. Where would Ratings Light store the ratings and is there any way to get them back? Obviously I have not carried out any backup whatsoever and there are no such files in the folder RL has set up in my playlist folder. dsm 6.2.2 (synology disk station 115) running lms 8.0 -- rpi with a hifiberry dac+ running picoreplayer -- plugins: material skin, mai, podcasts, musik - folge mir, squeezelite-x, ratings light, exclude folders streifenleopard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42019 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113344 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Much appreciated! I can see the logic behind it not being included. I guess the sensible thing would be to favourite albums and rate my individual tracks within that album as a workaround. Im pretty new to all this and its my first real attempt at upkeep of a growing digital collection. I am blown away by the quality of the plug ins for all this, I downloaded ratings last night and my instinct was to rate the album I just listened to (for the first time) so I thought Id ask the question. Most people have only very few rated tracks in an album, and so you get 'meaningful' (average) album ratings like 0.23 or 0.35. I'm not sure how useful this would be. *Setting* ratings for an -entire- album basically tells LMS/RL to set the rating of *all* album tracks to some value - because there is no album rating other than the calculated one. That would mean: all albums tracks rated equally and even the best albums have weak tracks... So is album ratings something you really really want and use then? If so, maybe a future update will bring an option to display calculated album ratings and batch rate all album tracks. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Hello, i'm new to LMS (runs on a synology with docker) and i'm testing airplay with my Yamaha MCR-560 player. Problem is the first start after power off from the Yamaha. LMS don't react to the buttons (play, next ..) on the Yamaha. I must open LMS in a browser and hit the play button to start the music. >From now on i can use play/pause on Yamaha until i power off and on again. Is this normal or what can i do so that the buttons have function after power off on the Yamaha? devil77's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72689 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and File Types
Further to my above post, initial test was done using SqueezePlay on my Mac. So tried the same album on my different players... Touch, Boom and Radio - all showed 1411kbps CBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify) (Converted to PCM) and the Spotty file type settings reverted to: 37546 Kev +---+ |Filename: 1.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37546| +---+ KeBul's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32883 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116151 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and File Types
I've never touched any file type settings, so all settings should be at "default" LMS 8.3 Here's my Spotty file types: 37542 That intrigued me, very different from yours and had me wondering what stream I received from Spotify. So I browsed Spotify from LMS and selected a album to play... track shows as "320k VBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify)" in LMS and my Spotty files types are now: 37544 The other option from the drop down menu for FLAC is "spotty-hf/flac", I guess that would become enabled should a FLAC stream be received. Hope this helps (although it's not helped me :D ) Kev +---+ |Filename: 2.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37544| +---+ KeBul's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32883 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116151 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and File Types
Thanks Michael and Slarti. And this is my point, really. I must have fiddled with the settings at some point. So to put them back to what they should be, a list of defaults will ensure no problems. Or am I misinterpreting your comments? I'm not sure I understand. But basically all those rules are enabled by default. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
