I have to do that on occasion on Win 8 - it won't shut down and I have to kill it with TM TIP: If you ever get the splash screen and the bat will go no further, shut it down, clear the cache (and img folder although that might not be needed) Then run it as administrator. IMAP may be the issue with you. I CAN do that with POP account folders. I use ALT+SHIFT+ the arrow keys. You may have to move it out to the same level, then maneuver it up (or down) to below the destination account, then move it in. Virtual Folders keep disappearing
I have had this problem constantly (but randomly) since moving to windows 8 x64 I will create several common virtual folders and they disappear. I have not been able to pin it down as to whether or not it may only be shutting down and opening the program, changing login profiles or rebooting. The files ARE in the database. If I use control+alt+shift+L they come back as regular folders, which of course is useless. 5.3.6.2 Maintenance Center not working correctly
4 tries including 2 reboots ... The maintenance center stops after deleting duplicates and goes no further. IF you stop it and uncheck the options to check the folders and find duplicates it hangs The Bat Confirmations anyone? I rebuild a virtual folder that shows all parked and flagged messages. The quick filter does not work for any of the predefined settings. Each time I delete a message from "All Mail" GMail IMAP folder, it keeps undeleting itself. Inline Graphics disappear when forwarding multiple messages to one user
If you pick a couple of messages with inline graphics and open them in separate editor window, the graphics are in the emails correctly.
