While you wait for more expert advice, when you edit/compose a
message, the menu should show Spell Checker next to the right of
Utilities. There you click on Automatic checking.

If you are using non-US spelling, you need to download and install the
international pack. (I use the British spelling)

Only using POP, but I'm missing many messages in this list. It looks
like MRB's move to the new server didn't go very smoothly.

You mean when you click on the URL in the message footer, the browser
doesn't open? This may have to do with a missing DLL, for example.

If you use a signature delimiter (minus, minus, blank, enter), this
will be cut off when someone replies. Try replying to my message and
you'll see what I mean.

There is so much to email, your URL problem will also be solvable.
However, I don't think this is a beta issue and should probably be
discussed on TBUDL rather than here. I'm copying TBUDL in for that
reason.

This may have solved the problem. After changing back and forth a few times
and then re-booting, things seem to be okay. Thanks.

I'm now experiencing the same problems - can't connect from The Bat!
although it previously worked fine. I can still access my accounts
through the web access. Have tried resetting up the accounts using
various combinations of settings from their examples which
unfortunately assume that you are using one of a narrow range of
e-mail clients, not including the Bat! I'd like to check the finer
details of port numbers and authentication settings but they don't
mention these. If anyone currently has MRB working with the Bat! can
you please share your settings. Thanks.

I tried that and nothing changed. Both Quotation (Odd) and Quotation (Even)
have the same setting as everything else. I even tried changing the font size
and then changing it back. Any other hints?

Options - Preferences - Viewer/Editor. It's either under "Plain
Text/MicroEd" or "HTML/Windows Editor", item names are Quotation and
Quotes.

Selecting Plain Text or HTML in Macro

2007-04-12 Thread Michael Rudnick
I'd like to be able to send messages to certain people in Plain Text, To
others in HTML/Plain. I have a toolbar that allows me to select the message
format.

Is there any way to do that through a macro? If not, any other options?

Font Problem

2007-04-12 Thread Gene Brown
After using TB for so many years, I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question
because I should know how to fix it. After a major hard drive crash and
reinstalling WinXP , I now have a minor problem with how messages are
displayed.

Any messages with a quote in them have the quote displayed in a small font
size. (I generally use Lucinda Console in size 12, but the quoted portions
look like size 8 or 6.) This is disconcerting to me and I'd like to have
everything in the same size font. How can I fix this?
