I picked up a 10 MHz distribution amp and use the same GPSDO to act as external reference on several instruments. Other than building up something, are their any commercial devices that will give me a 5 MHz output from a 10 MHz source ? The answer is simple ... Packing = $$$, right off the bottom line. Since most, if not all electronics on e-Pay is sold "as-is", the seller has no reason to be concerned with the item arriving safely. Only his conscience, which, sadly, in the case of most sellers is non-existent.
