[Bug 493575] Re: Buildbot master generates a setupBuild exception when attempting to run a builder
To be honest, I needed a continuous integration system to be deployed, and instead of fiddling around with buildbot, I replaced it with hudson ( which I wish was in ubuntu ... ) and shipped it, so I never got around to having another go with buildbot. -- Buildbot master generates a setupBuild exception when attempting to run a builder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493575 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The reason and the bases of the problem is very simple: 1. Ubuntu now uses 'Grub2' 2. [Bug 217892] Re: gdm with x11vnc not honoring KillInitClients
This problem was affecting me, also. It seems that gdm kills all clients immediately upon logging in, which effectively snuffs the x11vnc server, also. I have resolved this problem, however, by downloading the latest stable release (0.9.12) of x11vnc (http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/) and building it from source. The latest version of x11vnc attempts to reopen after gdm kills all connected clients. The version currently in the repo does not. It would seem that the gdm option "KillInitClients=false" is no longer supported, which would have been a viable workaround for this issue. -- gdm with x11vnc not honoring KillInitClients https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217892 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 636170] [NEW] Tomboy gets error 500 from U1 servers during Sync
Public bug reported: I'm filing this on behalf of another user, as I just ran into this error myself, and reproduced similar output with a debug of my own. Tomboy was able to sync for me once, but not again. I removed the machine from my one profile, removed all of my notes from tomboy, removed and reinstalled tomboy from the software center, set up the sync again, and still have no luck. The sync window tells me that it failed, but if I expand the window it shows that all notes are synced. However, on the one dashboard, it says I've only got 3 notes (instead of 60), but none of them show up when I click the "notes" link. I ran tomboy from the terminal with the --debug option, but I don't really know what to make of the output. It looks like a server error, but that's happening every time I've tried it over the last couple of weeks. I'd really like to get tomboy to sync to one. Any help? j...@josh-laptop:~$ tomboy --debug ** Running Mono with --debug** ... Re: [Bug 631438] Re: xulrunner-bin crashed with SIGSEGV
Well, it seems like you might have some package from -proposed installed. The retracer does not have debugging symbols for these, so for those packages, yes, you are being asked to downgrade if you'd like the crash retraced automatically. Also, xulrunner was upgraded since you reported the crash. Perhaps your issue has been fixed. [Bug 439448] Re: visual corruption affecting several panel applets
Great idea, Mal. I'd love to try it out myself but it looks like it's no longer affecting me. I've reverted my workaround for kicks after all this time and I get basically no corruption anymore. Nor do I really have access to a machine that has corruption regularly enough - They all happen (painfully for testing) too sparingly for me. -- visual corruption affecting several panel applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
