[Bug 1897211] [NEW] Ubuntu not loading/detecting discrete GPU after update
Public bug reported: After the most recent update Ubuntu 20.04.1 no longer detects or lists the Radeon 560X dedicated GPU in my laptop (the About sections lists the Vega 8 iGPU twice...). Even after a complete clean reinstall the issue persists. Even clicking "Launch using Dedicated Graphics Card" is broken, and it crashes X, which reloads itself. I'm not the most knowledgeable on the graphics stack, so not sure what I need to provide! [Bug 1896337] [NEW] Removable Media settings don't remember your choices
Public bug reported: Hi, The "Removable Media" section in Gnome Settings doesn't remember/respect the applications you pick, and automatically falls back to the first option in the list. This is repeatable on my desktop and laptop with 20.04.1 fully updated. For instance if I pick Rhythmbox for CD Audio and close & re-open the settings, it has changed to VLC, the first option available. [Bug 702916] Re: ldap 10.04 set up documentation missing a step
Had a look at this again (although on a debian squeeze install) and reading my fix description above I think that 1. "ldapsearch -LLL -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -b cn=config dn" may not work 2. config need only contain the following: dn: olcDatabase={0}config,cn=config changetype: modify add: olcRootDN olcRootDN: cn=admin,cn=config dn: olcDatabase={0}config,cn=config changetype: modify add: olcRootPW olcRootPW: {MD5}Xr4ilOzQ4PCOq3aQ0qbuaQ== I may be doing a 10.04 install in the next few weeks, if so I will confirm. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/702916 Title: ldap 10.04 set up documentation missing a step -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
