[Bug 137725] Re: textfield of strigiapplet loses focus
I can confirm this on an up-to-date Gutsy (as of 10/13). I didn't see this bug and submitted #152443 for the same problem It happens on every 2nd character typed (or deleted), as long as it finds results and the widget pops up. Otherwise you can continue typing and it never loses focus. -- textfield of strigiapplet loses focus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137725 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 152443] Re: Strigi applet loses focus on every other character
I was just searching through other bugs manually and see that this is a duplicate of bug #137725 (the automatic bug search when submitting a bug didn't catch it). This one is a little more detailed with a specific example, but can be closed as a duplicate. -- Strigi applet loses focus on every other character https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 152443] Strigi applet loses focus on every other character
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: strigi-applet The new Strigi applet for KDE in Gutsy loses focus on every other character. For example if I was searching for "strigi", after typing "st" the applet loses focus and I must click on it again in order to continue typing. This also happens while deleting characters, so if I messed up and typed "striggi" and wanted to correct it, after pressing backspace twice to delete the "gi" at the end the applet would lose focus again. This only happens when the applet finds results and the little popup above the applet displays the results. If you type something (or are deleting characters) and this does not trigger any results, you can continue typing or deleting until the popup comes back with a result. So if I were to type "zz" and didn't have any files with that name, I could type the entire search phrase without losing focus because there would be no results. ** Affects: strigiapplet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Strigi applet loses focus on every other character https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 139516] Re: Dolphin crashes when setting view properties to show hidden files.
I can confirm this bug. Changing the view from the default "Preview" to either "Icons" or "Details" and enabling "View hidden files" at the same time causes the crash every time. Setting either option (view, hidden files) independently does not crash it. -- Dolphin crashes when setting view properties to show hidden files. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139516 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 138274] Re: Dolphin does not remember view profile
I can confirm this is happening to me as well using up to date Gutsy beta / Dolphin 0.9.2. It won't remember any settings chosen, either using the icons in the toolbar, the "View" menu (as in viewing hidden files / folders), or in the "Adjust View Properties" menu (setting option as default for just that folder or all folders). It always reverts back to "Preview" view and not viewing hidden files / folders on a restart of Dolphin. -- Dolphin does not remember view profile https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138274 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 129126] Re: moodin caches themes in user directory
This one was driving me nuts today after my recent upgrade to Gutsy. I uninstalled / reinstalled kubuntu-default-settings and it wouldn't change. Went looking for a cache folder in my home directory and after clearing it out the new theme takes effect when logging in. Anybody notice that the preview picture still shows the Edgy / Feisty theme and says it's the Edgy Splash? -- moodin caches themes in user directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 106620] Re: Kaffeine displays an error message when a file with a special char like # is opened
I can confirm this is still happening in Feisty, running Kaffeine 0.8.5. At first I thought the videos were corrupted and re-downloaded them, same result. Then I noticed that the only files that wouldn't play had "#" in them. Removed the #, the files played. Contrary to the initial bug report though, the files never played for me after clicking OK. Kaffeine just kept complaining that the files didn't exist and would ignore them. -- Kaffeine displays an error message when a file with a special char like # is opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106620 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 92042] Re: cupsys in feisty doesn't put any backends into /usr/lib/cups/backend/
Thank you for fixing this. I still had the problem after today's updates, running version 1.2.8-0ubuntu8 and was manually symlinking the backends from /usr/lib/cups/backend-available --> /usr/lib/cups/backend. I took Walter's advice and purged cupsys then reinstalled it, and can confrim it is fixed. -- cupsys in feisty doesn't put any backends into /usr/lib/cups/backend/ https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
