Re: [Bug 683856] Re: Clicking on the far-right hand side of a maximized window does not scroll
I assume that this is happening because of the border around the window. The border is pretty ugly (again, not present on OSX), but necessary in GTK right now because that's how window resizing is done. I'd suggest that instead, window resizing be done with an _invisible_ border (ideally with the same default radius as the shadow in Compiz) and that the rendered border be completely independent, and not present on maximized windows. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/683856 Title: Clicking on the far-right hand side of a maximized window does not scroll -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 421326] Re: Genre should not be Enabled by Default or Moved
That's not an argument! How in the world could "Rock/Pop" be more useful in terms of identification than the _name of the person who is going to be singing to you_ ??!! If it is still included, why should it be given such priority? - at least move it! And why would it be "Unknown" - it is my library, this is all the music I added, I know what I'm listening to. I don't think that's an appropriate example. As I mentioned upstream: "It's because the genre information doesn't directly pertain specifically to the song. It's an issue of order of importance. Title-Artist-Album-Genre is descending in terms of importance. Title-Genre-Artist-Album doesn't have any order - it is nonsensical." Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Minor UI annoyance: Why is the song progress bar so big, and why does the Search bar cut into the browse screen? These could easily be moved onto the same line to remove some of the wasted space. If somebody agrees, I will write the patch for this. ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: onehundredpapercuts ** Tags added: onehundredpapercuts ** Also affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Song progress and Search bars should be in the same VBox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410792 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Oh, I certainly think consistency is a good idea, I just think it's _really_ important that the buttons correspond to actions, not answers to questions. http://www.usabilitypost.com/2008/08/30/usability-tip-use-verbs-as- labels-on-buttons/ -- Inconsistent: Quit without saving Firefox, Gedit, OpenOffice https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389876 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
