Different underlying code engines, so different macro structures. Use the one
program on all computers if you expect macros to work. There is no reliable
workaround.

Hi there,

Thanks,

It is very very unlikely that it would work because the internal object
models for manipulating a document are different. If all your macro does
is say print a number using the print statement or message box,
probably; but I hvae not tested it.

I Got A Question

2017-06-29 Thread QCIT3 MMisonora
Hi there,

I am a new user to OpenOffice and I need to have files, originally from Excel
with macros able to work on OpenOffice and Excel. However, I know that VBA and
API both use a different format of coding, so I was wondering if I were to
write the macros in another format such as Python or JavaScript in the original
Excel document would it work.

Thanks,

Emma

Notebook Layout.

2017-06-29 Thread ray mew
Hi Ya.
Am looking for the equivalent of the "Microsoft Notebook Layout" in
your selection of templates please.
I just like the way it is modelled as if it is a book , with
different coloured tongues for ease of use.
Could you please tell me if you have an equivalent that is very
similar or if you don't do anything like it.
Absolutely love "Open Office " . Well done on such a great
bit of software.

Thank you so much.

Help OpenOffice is Taking Half an Hour to Load Excel Files?????????

2017-06-29 Thread QCIT3 MMisonora
Hi there,

I am a new user to OpenOffice and am trying to get some files with VBA macros
that were originally written in Excel to open onto OpenOffice. However, it is
taking about half an hour to load just one file, so I am wondering why it is
taking so long as well as how I can fix it.

Thanks
