See Jon's design revision 4 at attachment 10632. The list of languages begins
just above the fold. All of the other things that people care about
("Wikipedia", logo, search, top 10) are located completely above the fold. They
can scroll down if they want the rest of the languages.

We do have country-specific landing pages working in Zero. This does not require device detection but it does require identification of country by IP address, which, again, is already working. However, this media query approach is still an improvement over what happens currently on the portal page. It could be worth trying. With OATHAuth enabled on a wiki (ie labsconsole), it is not possible to login

I'm not sure we need to have a plural version of this message--can the user
select more than one license? It seems to me like the license chooser uses
radio buttons, so
If someone is going to delve into this, Purodha is correct,
mwe-upwiz-source-thirdparty-license needs to use the {{PLURAL}} syntax for the
number of licenses, and it's probably getting used at around line 382 of
resources/mw.UploadWizardDeed.js, near the top of the declaration of
mw.UploadWizardDeedChooser. The line looks like "gM( 'mwe-upwiz-source-' +
deed.name, _this.uploads.length )" right now.
Marking as easy because it would just be adding a parameter.

I include a comparison of large comments (where line-height can be appreciated). These are independent changes, so if you prefer bigger text for the post we can still increase the line height to increase readability. ... It should be taken into account that the em measures are affected by the parent elements of each node. For example, if I include a 2em element into a 0.5em container, the resulting font size is equivalent to 1em. In the prototype the body font size has been set to 0.8em, and this implies that a 20% reduction will be applied to any other em-based measure in the document. For example, the sub-title "250 feedback posts on this article" that is set to 1.2em instead of being translated to 19px (as stated in the spec), is translated to 18px due to the body font reduction. This difference is not a big issue (just one pixel in this case), but it should be made clear in the specification whether these ems should be computed considering the body font size reduction or not. At the moment I have indicated the specific em to be applied to each final element including the resulting size in pixels. TorDNSEL actively tests through these nodes to provide a more accurate list." [1] Since users have know about servers they route through, any unlisted node would have a somewhat limited userbase, so I'm not sure if we need to be as concerned about them for spam. But if we really want to catch them all, we would need to do a dns lookup for each connecting ip. Is it possible to confirm that the list is being updated for enwiki, and billinghurst's problems are not related/current? If that's the case, I think this ticket can either be closed, or turned into a feature request for making the extension use the dns method.
