Currently at least Special:ManageMessageGroups fuzzies the message
documentation language (often "qqq") when fuzzying a key. The commandline
script fuzzy.php probably does the same. They shouldn't.

My assumption comes from reading the wikibugs perl script and we indeed need to
fix both issues. To rephrase it:

The HTML mails comes with both a text and a HTML version which are encapsulated
using MIME. The script does not support MIME and can not see the mail content. 
Once that has been fixed, a field name has been changed and will need to be
changed too.

Hi,
thank you for your quick response.

It seems that i did mistake - now i can see that package 1.20.1 doesnt include
WYSIWYG. So, it seems that i install this extension after upgradge.

I can see that page shows 1.16.x and 1.17.x only but as i said - editor works
fine on localhost, so its reason why i would like to continue with editor after
upgrade.

I also saw

When I'm using VisualEditor, session failed for unknown reason. The
VisualEditor then keep asking whether I want to try again but it always tries

Note that VisualEditor will attempt to add edit links in the caction for pages
in main namespace, but with Wikibase using main namespace for items this will
be conflicting.

It is possible to enable VisualEditor for specific namespaces so a work around
should be pretty simple.

Passing a flickr set (album) with more than 50 items only loads the first 50
items. It possibly makes sense to set a maximum of images a user can upload at
once, but if we want to select only a few of the set's images, we can't access
those past the 50 mark.

Besides, no message is presented to the user to tell them that only 50 of the
set's images have been loaded.

I have 6 wikis on SiteGround, my host. Five I succesfully upgraded from 1.17 to
1.20. The sixth had the message: Fatal error: Call to undefined method
MediaWiki::getVal() in
/home/albanyh9/public_html/wikiBio/extensions/InputBox/InputBox.hooks.php on
line 55
SO.. SiteGround restored my previous version of the wiki and it shows as v.
1.17.0. All looked good until I tried to add a user. Then I got: A database
query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The
last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function
"User::addToDatabase". Database returned error "1054: Unknown column
'user_options' in 'field list' (localhost)".
This may or may not be a new problem, as I have not tried to add a user in
several months.
Because I have several wikis, I could compare fields in a working wiki with the
non-working wiki, and the USER table fields are identical, and 'user-options'
is NOT found in either the working or non-working USER table. The list goes
from user_newtalk to user_properties in both wikis.
Updating the database to v 1.2 did NOT work - (Siteground sends me to a utility
called Softaculous to do upgrades - it thinks I am upgraded to v 1.2 so I can't
try to upgrade again.)
Any and all suggestions are well. I need details as I have no idea how, or if I
am allowed, to do command line things on my wikis. SiteGround has declared it a
database problem and not within their scope of responsibility as the host of

Feedback is one-way, we don't need to read the reponse (and we can't, due to
origin policy). So we should convert this into a regular POST without XHR so
that it doesn't error.

Apparently though the current method does work for one-way (the request isn't

The patch found in I32c9ca6 incorrectly casts its parameters to (float) instead
of (double). This means that it reduces their precision when they are double.

Note that the fmod() PHP function takes double parameters (not float
parameters), so the cast to (float) is immediately recasted by promotion to
(double).

Please use typecasts to (double) directly to keep the precision and avoid
roundings.

I believe that all AFTv5 requests (pilot or otherwise) on new wikis are under
hold because of database impact in its design. (The dewiki pilot which is
small, on a different db, and has a developer who speaks german and can work
around some of the i18n issues that have come up (Bug #42881). AFTv5 is
undergoing a complete refactoring in order to accommodate the database issue
(and around that time we'll try to sneak in a fix for Bug #42881).

Hopefully then we can unblock this bug.

If you have a change in Gerrit, I can -2 it. Since it's only a config thing, I
doubt it'd need to be rebased, but there is risk otherwise: especially if it
involves localization of messages.

If you're reworking InitializeSettings.php, I'd suggest you separate that patch
from this one, as the only way this would be possible on arwiki is late January
at the earliest. :-(

· Admin adds {{copyvio|...}}
· Uploader removes the tag.
· Normal user tries to revert.


Or more subtle:

· Bot tries to archive it, but can't add the url to the archive page.

10% on English language Wikipedia. I've added Fabrice Florin (Product Manager

the CC list so they can comment on the request or correct my current
understanding.

Until more information is know, I'd hold off on the patch creation, Dereckson.

Totally cool. Luckily the state of the codebase makes it a blocker on ops end
as well. I'm sure Matthias will deal with 90% of these in the process of
refactoring (or while waiting for the code review on the refactor) so I'm not
above making it a blocker for wider release (there are other enwiki specific
things that also would need to be addressed).

Hmm, this it the third installation I am upgrading, but the first time this has
happened:

I must admit that I used a slightly different method:
1) added $smwgDefaultStore = 'SMWSQLStore2'; to LocalSettings.php
2) ran php SMW_refreshData.php -v -b SMWSQLStore3 -fp
3) ran php SMW_refreshData.php -v -b SMWSQLStore3
4) removed $smwgDefaultStore = 'SMWSQLStore2'; from LocalSettings.php
5) ran php SMW_setup.php --delete --backend SMWSQLStore2

So what is the difference to the two updates before?
I skipped a step between 1) and 2): php SMW_setup.php -b SMWSQLStore3 since I
saw no sense in creating the tables and then deleting them again with step 2).

I think this should not happen if you follow 1) - 5).

Squid cache did not get purged for the thumbnail. Furthermore action=purging
the image page does not purge the thumb.

This can be verified since

is the new version of the image.

some users can solve the problem temporally by changing the skin and other
actions like repeated refreshing, but i can't reproduce it.

In my case: logged-in i have the short comment with a "more" link and
logged-out i can see the full text. Just to understand how it should behave: If
theres a long comment it should be cut of and a link to the feedback is
displayed. Should the "more"-link dynamically expand the comment by using
"articleFeedbackv5-comment-full"? or should it redirect to the permalink and
then show the full comment?

also in my experience ArticleFeedbackv5.render.php l. 576 does seem to truncate
(... with "more") at

for logged-in users and for logged-out users it does not truncate (showing full
comment). If this is not related to the "more"-button not working it should be

I'm not sure this is accurate. I would think that if the bot were now receiving
HTML e-mails, the parsing would've broken much more severely.

And, in any case, wouldn't it simply be a matter of logging in to the
wikibugs-l Bugzilla account and toggling its e-mail user preference?

This is probably the root cause of this bug. The bug summary has been recently
updated to blame HTML e-mail, but I suspect the new bug summary is simply
wrong.
