Hi Chris, The Xubuntu 22.10 Beta release notes can be found here: https://wiki.xubuntu.org/releases/22.10/release-notes You can view the ISO manifest file on the daily build site: https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily-live/current/ It's also tracked daily here: https://github.com/Xubuntu/xubuntu-manifest/blob/daily-live/desktop-amd64.manifest It looks like the current dnsmasq version on the daily ISO is 2.86-1.1ubuntu1. It seems like it may be shipping a patch to resolve the issue you describe: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+changelog Thanks! If xubuntu 22.10 will have dnsmasq version 2.87 in it then I will wait for the release and get the fixed dnsmasq that way. [xubuntu-users] Finding information about xubuntu 22.10 release - how?
xubuntu 22.10 is due to be released on 20th October but I couldn't find out *anything* about it on xubuntu.org. Surely there should be some pointers there and maybe a link to beta versions for the more intrepid of us. I specifically wanted to see what version of dnsmasq will be in xubuntu 22.10 as the latest dnsmasq (version 2.87) fixes an annoying bug in version 2.86 which causes dnsmasq to crash on one of my systems. If xubuntu 22.10 will have dnsmasq version 2.87 in it then I will wait for the release and get the fixed dnsmasq that way. However if the new dnsmasq isn't in 22.10 then I will have to get the newer dnsmasq by other means. -- Chris Green -- xubuntu-users mailing list xubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-users
